This is especially interesting to me given that a number of agents questioned whether I was making the right decision in engaging you, as you are well known for properties at the higher end of the scale, and they wondered whether you put the effort in for a property under the one million dollar mark. They were entirely wrong. As you know, I became quite uncertain about whether to sell in a falling market, and to your credit, you didn’t once waiver in the efforts and enthusiasm you showed in attempting to sell the property, even when it looked like I’d withdraw. Nor did I feel you ever overstepped the mark in trying to convince me to sell when I was increasingly reluctant to do so. I was reluctant to take the property to auction, and set a reserve at the very high end, thinking it wouldn't sell. The fact that you could have achieved that price was extraordinary. I note that you did so by continuing to negotiate with the eventual purchaser after the property was passed in. I couldn't believe it when you called me at 11pm the night of the auction with the news that you got the reserve. I am sure you know how much I admire and appreciate your skills and your overall approach, which I believe are exceptional. I would recommend you and your team without reservation, and am happy for you to use any part of my testimonial or to provide me as a referee.
