I thought that selling my property while living overseas in Denmark was going to be an extremely difficult and challenging experience but this agent proved me wrong. He managed the whole process faultlessly. It was unbelievably smooth from the moment my tenant vacated, through the painting, repairs and the dressing of the apartment, right up to the final signing of the contract. His attention to detail was superb and the small touches were extremely appreciated. He was always on top of everything that was happening and his level of communication was outstanding. I believe I got the best price possible for my apartment and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this agent and his team to anyone selling their property in Port Melbourne.

From the moment we engaged this agent, we felt like he was selling his own property and bringing us along for the journey. He talked straight, was honest and extremely accurate in predicting the actual sale price and did not over estimate to us or underquote to potential buyers during the marketing campaign. He was evidence-based and backed up recommendations with multiple actual examples of lessons learned from other properties recently sold in the same area, including from other agents. He was strategic and advised on how to get the biggest bang for buck from maintenance work and staging. The advertising strategy was perfectly targeted for maximum impact and made use of relevant channels including social media. He was thorough and provided us with a written or verbal update after every open for inspection and was always accessible to answer our questions. He was resourceful and arranged for multiple quotes and coordinated all the maintenance work and staging, whilst keeping us fully informed and in control of the decisions along the way. All the work was of extremely high quality and very reasonably priced. The property was tenanted and he assisted to negotiate with the tenants to break the lease 6 months ahead of term, whilst helping them to find another property and vacate in sufficient time for the maintenance work and marketing campaign. He arranged for an auctioneer that was a master in his field - with the charisma who didn't crack insulting jokes to generate the excitement and competitive tension that led to a sale price well above our expectations. I am time poor and he took all the effort and hard work out of selling. In fact, I don't think I did very much apart from make decisions. He is a very good communicator and gets straight to the point. He has a pleasant demeanour and very easy to get along with. I don't think I could sell another property in the future without having this agent represent us, irrespective of the location.

Your professionalism, honesty, attention to detail, guidance and friendliness has been so very welcoming. As you know we chose Chisholm & Gamon to sell Elwood because of one person - Christine Nicholson. Christine worked so very hard to get our difficult tenant on side even after we were unable to sell at the auction, however, the tenant just proved too hard to deal with, so Mark and I made the difficult decision to withdraw our apartment from sale until our tenant vacated the premises. At that time Christine left for Tasmania, so we waited with trepidation to see if you would be able to fill Christine's shoes - we needn't have worried. After our tenant left, we made the decision to revamp our apartment to give it the "wow" factor before putting it back again on the market. Your assistance from selecting carpet to sourcing the necessary trades and ensuring that the work was done on time was extremely appreciated. And then the final piece in the jigsaw was having our apartment professionally dressed - organised again through yourself. In mid October 2014, following an unexpected rental vacancy we decided to sell our property in Port Melbourne. After 6 years of tenancy, managing all the (largely aesthetic) repairs and sale process from interstate (NSW), seemed likely to be a bit of a nightmare. Having contacted three agents in Port Melbourne to assist with this, this agent was absolutely the obvious choice, and we're very glad and thankful for his assistance. Within a week, this agent had arranged quotes for all repairs, display furniture and conveyancing. Within a fortnight repairs and repainting were completed, furniture was in, the apartment was listed and we were ready for the first inspection. Within a month, the property had sold for much more than we had expected. We were concerned that given we were starting the process so close to Christmas, the sale may be pushed back into Jan or Feb, however thanks to this agent 's efficiency, motivation and professionalism the sale was much faster and easier than we could have possibly expected. this agent managed the whole process for us, but remained very communicative throughout so we knew exactly what was going on.
