This agent is the estate agent who handled the sale of my deceased sister's home at Mortdale early on behalf of my brother and myself. We enquired with several agents before asking this agent to handle the sale. l also asked our solicitor to look at the agency agreements for all of the agents we approached, and his opinion was that the Mandlle agreement was best, with all costs being borne by the agency until completion of the sale, and what was basically a no-sale, no-fee contract, yet for a very reasonable commission. In the initial meetings, the other agents spent about half an hour each inspecting and evaluating the property and giving advice, which basically was a pretty standard list of things that needed attention in order to sell. This agent on the other hand, spent much longer with me at our Initial meeting at the property and listened carefully to the limitations on what we could do and what we couldn't do to prepare the property before giving advice. This agent then came up with a marketing plan that acknowledged our limitations, and still presented the property in the best light, at a more realistic asking price than the other agents. A sale was achieved in under 4 weeks at a price higher than we expected, and the sale was settled within 30 days, much to our delight. Moreover, this was achieved in a cooling market at the quietest time of the year. I found that this agent was always helpful, not only with advice, but also with practical help, such as regularly retrieving our council bins when we were clearing the contents of the home. This was most helpful to us as we live some distance away from the property. I have no hesitation in recommending this agent as an agent that we found trustworthy to look after our seller’s interests, and achieve an excellent sale outcome.
