How did you get started in real estate?

I started out as a receptionist, got into property management and then moved into sales.

What is your favourite thing about the area you service?

My favourite thing about the area is that the location is close to everything and it's just a great overall family area - especially South Penrith. I live around here, so I love the area.

Can you tell us about your most memorable sale?

My most memorable sale was a beautiful home that I sold in Twin Creeks for an awesome price at the time. I sold it for $1.5 million and it was a 1400 square metre block. It was small compared other houses around the area.

What’s your biggest strength?

My biggest strength is customer service.

What do you like most about your job?

Getting the job done - getting the home listed, working with both buyers and owners, and to make it all happen.

What’s the biggest mistake you see vendors make?

Choosing the wrong agents based on fees. There's a limit to what we can reduce them to. If you want quality, you have to be able to pay. Vendors also need to be aware of what they're being told by their agents, you have to question, where is the proof that your property is worth that much? They are told that they'll be getting this amount of money and they end up getting worked down. It happens time and time again.

Why should a vendor choose you?

A vendor should choose me because I'm honest. I think I find in this market that eventually a lot of agents will tell homeowners what they want to hear. And unfortunately, it's really bad because the properties just sit there' Being honest is really important, and even more so in this market.
