Exclusive agency or exclusive listing refers to granting a single agency or agent the right to sell your property. It’s the most common listing agreement that home sellers will choose when selling their property.

Typically, the exclusive period lasts for 90 days. If the exclusive agency period goes beyond 90 days without the property being sold, you have the option to end the agreement by giving the agent a 30 day written notice at the end of the 90-day period.
