Can you purchase a display home to live in?

Yes, you can buy a display to live in. However a catch that you might often find is that you can't buy and live in it right away. Depending on the land estate and area, most builders have displays open for 3-5 years before allowing you to move in.

In the case that you can purchase the home right away, some builders may offer a leaseback arrangement to continue using the home as a display while you get paid rental income in the meantime.

Are the furnishings in a display home included in the purchase?

In most cases, the furnishings in a display home are not automatically included in the purchase. Display homes are often staged with furniture and decor to showcase the potential of the space and help prospective buyers visualise how they could furnish the home.

However, some sellers may choose to include fixtures and fittings such as pergolas and curtains.
