t was my second time dealing with Ed Brown and again he provided excellent service. He has great knowledge of the Bondi Junction/Queens Park area and is full of energy and drive. Mine was a difficult sale as the property was a bit quirky and had some limitations that turned off a lot of potential buyers. Ed persisted throughout the sale campaign and was always reachable and keeping us up to date. He was able to leverage his activity in the area to introduce the property to some potential buyers from other sales he was involved in and negotiated with them a price that we were happy with as well as convenient settlement terms. I don't think many agents would have been able to pull this off without us spending considerable amounts of money and time on renovating the house to eliminate the quirkiness. I fully recommend Ed for his persistence, dedication and energy, as well as excellent communication and very professional manner.

I first met this agent as a purchaser and was impressed with his direct, honest approach and transparency in negotiating, and managing the sale. I had looked for a property over 3 years and no other agent stood out or impressed me as much as this agent . I kept his number in my phone for when the time came to sell and when it came, he was the first person I called. He once again impressed me with his professionalism, directness and knowledge, he was competitive with his campaign, accessible and highly communicative, and got a great result for me. The fiduciary duty bond between an Agent and Agent can sometimes put a Purchaser in a position where they feel that they are exposed and therefore it is hard to fully engage. It is a rare agent who can balance the fine line between supporting a vendor and making the purchaser feel like they are willing to fully participate in a sales process as they are comfortable. It's all about communication and Ed Brown showed in my recent dealings with him that he possesses the rare skill to make both sides of the negotiation feel like a winner. I went into the auction with a clear view as to the real price expectation as well as a fair understanding of what the market was saying. I was happy to pay above the reserve as the property was exceptional and I was comfortable that I had purchased a quality property. No questions were too small for Ed and I am sure the Vendor felt that he had maximised the price whilst leaving the purchaser feeling like he had not been fooled and had made an informed decision. I worked with this agent during two separate campaigns to sell my home in Blenheim Street during 2015. I say "worked with" because this agent is a rare, if not unique, agent who establishes enduring relationships with both his vendors and buyers rather than one who is focused on earning his commission in the minimum possible time. Even before we started the process I knew our home was going to take time to sell - a unique design on a sloping block that did not tick the boxes for everyone. And it did take time. But this agent never gave up, never stopped looking for fresh strategies, and never suggested we drop the price to attract bargain hunters. As the campaign dragged out, friends suggested we speak to other agents and, with this agent 's knowledge, we did. We even listed with other agents as well. But, what we heard and saw from them did nothing to convince us that we should take the listing from this agent . While they were convinced they could do a better job, none offered anything new in terms of strategy and, when given the chance to prove themselves, delivered nothing to convince us of that. One even went as far as to say that he did his vendors a favour when he walked away from a property that didn't sell quickly, rather than sticking with it. Friends also assured us that the right buyer would eventually come around and we'd just have to wait it out. But this agent never walked away and was not satisfied with waiting for the right buyer. I know that every day he was working to find our buyer. And, the proof of that is that, in the end, our buyer was someone who hadn't been actively in the market but an interested neighbour who had been through another of this agent 's properties and who "got" our house. I cannot recommend this agent highly enough. If you have a property with popular appeal, you will never wonder whether he worked to maximise the result for you and if you have one that is a bit different you will know he will never give up.

I was hoping not to put my house on the market for a few years – planning to move to a retirement village with a c. 5 year waiting list. For medical reasons I was suddenly bumped up the waiting list and offered an idyllic unit. Thus I had to put my house on the market, with haste. I had studied closely the local market for over 18 months, attending many inspections and auctions. I especially viewed the agents at work. I often felt sorry for the vendor(s) if they saw what I did at some inspections. Most agents were polite, but often that was as far as it went. Many lacked enthusiasm or more importantly knowledge of the local market or intricate knowledge of the property that they were representing on behalf of the buyer. These were not in a position to assist the potential buyer. When I had to sell there were two or three agents only that I entertained. this agent of Belle Property was my number one. Ed fought for MY interests. He knew how far I would go but seemingly never revealed that and achieved a result that I am sure both purchaser and I am happy with. An achievement that meant nothing to Ed commission wise but of course much to me. I’ll say no more other than to highly commend him to any considering to avail of his services.
