This agent sold our property in Thornbury and we ended up with a result that far exceeded our expectations. Right from the start, this agent worked tirelessly to get our place the maximum exposure and all along gave us honest, and what turned out to be useful and accurate advice. He followed up on all our requests and questions promptly, gave great customer service to anyone showing an interest in the property and skillfully translated initial interest into potential buyers in the day. One of the best things about dealing with this agent was that he also auctioned the property himself. Since he had a really intimate knowledge of the place, he presented it really well on the day and knew all the potential buyers since he had shown them all through the property several times. We found that to be a great value add. We were looking for a place for over 2 years so we got to know a lot of agents. This agent was by far the best we dealt with, and I wouldn't hesitate recommending him.

It is a given to expect an agent to have expertise and be a leader in all matters of real estate, from area, to housing style to demographic trends and the like. However I wanted more, I wanted and required an agent who was also trustworthy, reliable, genuine and realistic and from our initial meeting through to post auction discussion - this agent and his team provided me with all of this and the utmost care and attention in customer service and client liaison. Finding an agent that you have a genuine and natural rapport with is rare, but in this agent and his team it was a breeze. If I had concerns about any detail, this agent and his team would spend the time to explain their strategy, providing me with every opportunity to further discuss and understand the process. And when you are selling your major asset, this is a critical. I am not sure if this agent can take credit for this one although he did recommend the date, but in the heart of winter, and on election day, we were blessed with a day of sunshine - and he performed wonderfully as auctioneer guaranteeing me an excellent auction result.

Being a WA based investor, and working FIFO out of Darwin, I thought that selling my one bedroom apartment in Fitzroy was never going to be an easy process. As it turns out, I was wrong. I had singled out this agent right from my initial enquiry (I was just testing the market at that time) as the person to call should I ever want to sell my property. That time came a few months later when my tenants gave notice to vacate and I decided the time was right to sell, so I gave him a call. After receiving an impressive sales proposal, I gave this agent the go-ahead to act for me in the sale of my property. Whilst I was fully aware that I could have saved a few dollars on fees by shopping around with other local agents, I was very impressed from the outset with this agent’s confidence, professionalism, detailed knowledge of the local market, and of the overall sales process, so I decided to risk paying that bit extra in the hope it would pay off come auction day. Well auction day never came, as three very serious buyers surfaced within a week or so of the apartment going online, and a written offer was received well before the scheduled auction date. This agent did a great job in keeping the competition, keen during the negotiation stage and securing the best possible offer. In fact, the offer I accepted was considerably higher than what I had expected to achieve at auction. Despite my initial fears, the sales process turned out to be near effortless on my part. We had decided to make a sea change for health reasons and contacted this agent for an appraisal before going to Queensland. This agent handled the sale of a rental property in Fitzroy North. He advised, among other things, re-painting and a number of maintenance works. While these added considerably to the pre-sales costs, we believe that we were more than compensated in the price obtained. As we were overseas, this agent arranged for the pre-sales works which were carried out on time and on budget, and while we didn't see the results, family and friends indicate they significantly improved the sale interest in the property. We were kept appraised of the pre-auction level of interest in the property and the auction day went smoothly. We highly recommend this agent to property owners wishing to sell.

Recently, this agent sold our townhouse in Brunswick East prior to auction. We decided to sell via Jellis Craig, and specifically this agent, as we bought another property from him last year and found him to be very professional. This agent is a highly efficient, friendly and organised agent. His communication skills are strong and he kept us up-to-date at every stage. Recently I helped organize the sale of a property that was co-owned by two older people who lived several hours in either direction from the house in North Fitzroy. On their behalf, I contacted a couple of agents for an appraisal. This agent proved himself very professional and energetic and able to manage the three way communication that was necessary to keep all of us informed. He was very thorough in providing information about costs and the process of the sale. The fact that he was the selling agent and the auctioneer was definitely a plus. He also was not adverse to some negotiating when it came to the fee. All in all, a very positive experience.
