He also advised us against renovating the property. We had been planning to renovate extensively, but he couldn’t guarantee we would be able to get a return on our investment. I felt this was very, very important advice he gave.”

Theresa ended up getting a fair price from the sale. After originally opting for an auction, which was going to take five weeks, she received an offer prior to auction which she accepted. In terms of commission, he certainly wasn’t the cheapest agent they interviewed, but Theresa was happy with the service, so didn’t mind paying the rate negotiated.
