You may not know but we interviewed other agents in the Toorak and neighbouring areas but the key difference is that you were able to provide both the personal and professional advice regarding selling. We want to commend your excellent service throughout the whole process of selling. From the onset, we appreciated your expert opinion regarding price and the process of selling. The marketing campaign was smooth and very effective inclusive of picking the right trades to do a great make-over within small window of time and on-budget. This was clearly evident in that we had so many compliments about the photos and presentation of the property which was professionally captured on a number of web sites and fantastic full page feature in the weekly property magazine - the right number of photos to attract sufficient interest. The advertising board on the street was impressive even by Toorak standards. We also want to commend your excellent communication throughout the whole campaign.     We have recently sold our home in Glen Iris, through Jellis Craig. This was our first experience selling a home and we approached the exercise with some trepidation. After talking with a number of agents, we chose Jellis Craig because of their professional approach. Unlike our experience with some other agents, at no time did we feel pressured to make any decisions regarding the sale process. this agent was our main contact and we found him, at all time, to be completely professional and approachable. He kept us fully informed regarding the process and was always available to answer any questions or concerns. He was able to help us arrange required tradespersons and an interior design consultant. We felt very comfortable leaving this agent to show our home at inspections, and each time he promptly informed us of the outcome. Prior to auction day we were realistically informed of the progress of the selling campaign, and on auction day were kept well-informed and consulted throughout the auction, and the subsequent negotiations that led to a sale at a price with which we were happy.     I would like to take this opportunity to commend this agent , a senior sales consultant of your firm, for not only achieving a superb result on the sale of our property, but for being an excellent representative for Jellis Craig. I have known this agent for a number of years but only recently have I been a witness to his wealth of expertise and knowledge. My only regret is that I have not engaged his services in the sale and purchase of previous properties. In the past, this agent has been a true professional by providing opinions and feedback to us, not only on the state of the marker but on the properties we were keen to purchase, on many occasions, from other agents. Being the consummate professional, this agent did not hesitate in offering honest and realistic valuations.The time came to sell our parent's property, now being owned by my siblings and I.     I want to commend this agent as an excellent ambassador for your company. After referring a range of properties to Caz, my wife, and I over several months we ignored one of his options and had this agent accepted our refusal to inspect it, we wouldn't have been the lucky bidders when it went to auction. As an ex-real estate agent and potential vendor, I found the work this agent did to ensure that we inspected various properties, without relying on the advertising alone to attract us as buyers, extremely impressive. Wanting the same effort extended on our property, we listed with this agent and the team at Glen Iris. The pre-campaign work was great with the recommended improvements showing the property in a better light then having the photo's, advertising copy and floor plan all offered for comment and approval. We felt we were allowed to be as involved in the process as we wanted. The level and quality of communication at all times during the campaign was very high and we were never left wondering what was happening. I've always felt that given the bidders, any house will sell at auction, we had one lack lustre bidder competing with a stronger bidder to whom the house was passed in, below where we wanted to be. It was then this agent , along with Paul Williamson, showed why he was worth his fee, within fifteen minutes he'd negotiated a result up into our range and that he'd initially quoted - a significant improvement on the last bid. Attention to detail appears to be one of the driving factors in his success.     I approached this agent to sell an investment property which I owned in Ashburton. He was immediately accommodating and willingly gave me his time, even though I had not made an appointment. I was instantly made to feel comfortable and no question by me was deemed silly or unnecessary. I had not previously sold any property, especially with a tenant in place, but this agent explained all the processes clearly and succinctly to me. This was refreshing since several other estate agents I had contacted came across as pushy with limited knowledge of the Ashburton area. this agent was very flexible when arranging meetings outside of business hours which I appreciated given that I work full time. He kept in constant contact with me via email and telephone throughout the whole process and I always felt in control of what was happening. this agent kept me regularly informed with what the market was saying about my property and this assisted me with setting a realistic reserve. The pre-auction meeting was very valuable and this agent explained the auction process to me to avoid any confusion on the actual day. We also discussed the most appropriate strategies to use in order to maximise the outcome. One week before the auction, my brother passed away unexpectedly and his funeral was held the day before the auction. this agent was aware of this and understood the deep sense of sadness and loss which my family and I were experiencing at this time.
